Side Hustle Income Revenue April 2024 - $112

I earn commissions from my affiliate links.

Everytime I walked into a supermarket for the past five or so years, I muttered some unheavenly words under my breath.  Have you seen these food prices?  They just keep increasing each year too. Ridiculous.  Don’t even get me started on the cost of eating out.  For example, I love seafood but I have never eaten any of those seafood boils at a restaurant.  Spend my money? Oh, no honey.  I can buy shrimp and other ingredients at Walmart and make my seafood at home.

Although i’ve had a full time job for most of my adult years, I also had a side hustle that I worked on occasionally.  These included:

Selling colored pens to coworkers at one of my workplaces.  This fed my love for stationery and that money paid for vehicle fuel.

Selling bottled water.  I used this money to pay a couple bills per month.

Selling cute lights that plug into laptop ports. To be honest, I don’t remember what I did with this money.  Maybe I used it to buy lunch.

Marking examination scripts,  This was used to pay for random stuff like cosmetics.

Clinical studies.  This is being saved, I didn’t spend it yet.

Now I’m a little bit older.  Mid-forties, how you doin’.  My hustle has been more online because I just don’t feel like peopling that much anyways.  They include taking surveys, playing games, content creation and snapping receipts.  I’d like to add here that I have a service based small business that I have been running for the past couple of years.  I intend to open a small product based online business later this year.  I’m also planning to monetize my two blogs and my other two YouTube channels in the future.  This is a LOT but slow and steady wins the race.

This is my second post reporting the income that I receive through my side hustles.  I will discuss each revenue stream where I make money and also the amount of money that I made in each area.

Superpayme

Superpayme is a survey site that actually contains many other survey choices.  At this time, I usually take surveys from CPX research and BitLabs on this site.  Sometimes I also choose the best paying surveys tab where I’ve seen some surveys pay seven dollars.

My earnings at Superpayme for the month of April 2024= $39.02

Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars is a site where you can do surveys, play games and snap receipts.  There is also an Offers section where you can try certain products and receive points.  My favorite part of this site is the search section.  When you use the search bar points will be added to a colorful horizontal bar.  At certain points on the bar, you get the opportunity to scratch and win random points.  This is what I normally use on this site and that explains why I only got minimal rewards on this site.  I don’t do surveys here because I haven’t had much luck with them.

My earnings at Inbox dollars for the month of April 2024= $4.31

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a site that is similar to Inbox Dollars.  They seem to be owned by the same company.  You can snap receipts, play games, answer surveys and do other activities.  I usually do surveys and play the free games on this site.

My earnings at Swagbucks for the month of April = $25.62 (with $30 pending)

Ipsos Isay

This is basically a survey site.  No frills and no hoopla.  This is the site where I’m most successful at completing surveys.  However one thing about Ipsos Isay is they definitely let you do a certain number of surveys daily.  I usually answer either two or three surveys daily.  If you try to do too much, a message pops up saying “There are no available studies at the moment.

My earnings at Ipsos Isay for the month of April 2024= $25.70

YouTube

I know some persons may be sick of hearing ‘Start a YouTube channel today’’ but for real though, start a YouTube channel today.  Your channel can be a journal, a way of informing others and also a way to make that money, honey!  I’ve had a couple channels for years and with one monetized, it has come in handy with paying bills during the times when I was unemployed.  If you never thought of starting a channel, consider it.  Get on that train.  Channel.  Whatever.

My earnings on YouTube for the month of April 2024 = $12.02

Fetch Rewards

Fetch is mainly a survey and shopping app.  There are special offers where you get points for buying certain products.  They recently revealed a game section where you play games for a certain amount of time to receive points.  I’ve been playing Travel Town because that game is offering the most points at this time.  I say this because the point level fluctuates with each game.

My earnings on Fetch rewards for the month of April 2024 = approx $3

Receipt Hog

Receipt Hog has been one of the first apps that I started using and I’ve been sticking beside them ever since.  This is mainly a receipt snapping site.  You can also try your hand at the Hog Slots, which is like a game of chance.  In addition, you can upload online receipts.  Receipt Hog also features surveys however I hardly get them. Sometimes I may have to answer a couple questions about my shopping experience after I upload a receipt.

My earnings onReceipt Hog for April 2024= approx $1

Coin Out

Coin Out has been my most recent app, I started using it for about a couple weeks.  You can snap photos of your receipts, receive missions and there’s a section where you can connect your digital accounts.  These include Walmart, Starbucks and Instacart.

My earnings on Coin Out for April 2024 = approx $2

Facebook

Let me just say first of all that although I am monetized on Facebook, I haven’t connected my payout information.  I don’t see the point honestly because I am earning literal cents per month.  I really grew that Facebook profile because I wanted to post my blog links on there.  I presently have approximately two thousand five hundred and ninety followers on there and they are growing slowly.

My earnings on Facebook for April 2024 = 10 cents.  Yeah, don’t ask me.

There are some sites where I didn’t earn anything at all.  To tell you the truth, I am a member of quite a few affiliate programs since I have been blogging for many years.  Unfortunately I stopped blogging for about five years (yikes) and started back posting occasionally in 2024.  A couple of sites that I've been a member of for a long time include Amazon Associates and ShareaSale.

Respondent

Respondent offers studies and pays you for your participation.  I’ve seen offers of payments from fifty to three hundred dollars.  The company will email you with offers that they think may be suitable for you.  When you apply, you have to answer some questions.  If you are successful, they will contact you.  Then you do the study and get paid.  This is more difficult to get studies because Respondent is looking for certain types of persons.  Mothers of toddlers.  Users of certain laundry detergents.  Small business owners.  It’s really random, in my opinion.  I usually make sure to share the referral link of each study that I screen for.

ShareaSale

I’ve been a member of ShareaSale for so long.  This is an affiliate site where you can join different merchants.  I joined Dollar Tree because I love me a dollar store.  I’ve gotten a few commission payments in the past. I see a few clicks now and then from past blog posts.

Amazon Associates

I rarely use Amazon Associates.  Sometimes I remember it after I post a product link on my social media.  It is simple to use.  Download the Amazon Shopping app, click the share icon next to the desired product and paste the link on social media.

My Total side hustle revenue for April 2024 = $112.67.  This is a pleasant increase from my revenue for March which is approximately $89.

What did I do differently this month?  I stopped playing those long games on Swagbucks.  I realized that I was only getting to the ten or fifteen dollar reward level after playing for two or three weeks.  That definitely wasn’t going to work for me.  Now I rotate between answering surveys on Superpayme, Ipsos Isay and swagbucks daily.  In addition, I put more work on Youtube. My Youtube revenue for March was 49.58 while April’s revenue was $12.02.

The most fun part of all is  I don’t spend any of it.  This is saved up monthly.  Although this may seem like a paltry sum, I like the idea that this money amount is growing and being safely stored somewhere.

If you’re interested, you can click the link of each site to join in on the savings.  These are affiliate links so I will receive compensation when you decide to become a member of any site.
